BIO:

Ted Meissner manages online mindfulness programming for the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society™ at UMass Medical School.  He has been a meditator since the early 90’s, has taught mindfulness within the corporate environment as well as to the general public, delivering both in-person and virtual programs to hundreds of participants. His dialogues on the podcast Present Moment: Mindfulness Practice and Science brings guest mindfulness researchers, authors, teachers, and practitioners to talk about their work and how it can help others.  Ted has been interviewed for Books and Ideas, Mindful Lives, and The Whole Leader podcasts, spoken about mindfulness with various groups including Harvard Humanist Hub, and has written for Elephant Journal and The International Journal of Whole Person Care.
